Welcome to our 1-day Brain-Inspired Computing Workshop, a University of Manchester organised event dedicated to connecting the worlds of emerging materials research, memristive device engineering, and the development of hybrid memristive-CMOS neuromorphic computing systems. By focusing on technological applications, we aim to spark conversations and collaborations that can help shape the next generation of intelligent computing.
What to Expect
- Invited Talks: Hear from leading researchers and practitioners on the latest breakthroughs in spintronics, memristive devices, and neuromorphic chips and architectures.
- Panel Discussions: Engage with a diverse panel of experts as they examine the role of neuromorphic computing in the UK and internationally, highlight key barriers to adoption, and envision paths forward for academia and industry.
- Networking & Collaboration: Connect with leading experts in neuromorphic AI hardware from universities, spinouts, and industrial R&D labs.
